Join Venture Lab for the culmination of the Climate Change & the Future of Food Salon Sprint - a Pitch Competition in Tangen Hall on September 22nd from 12:00pm -1:30pm!
Students are welcome to register to pitch the venture they have been iterating during the Climate Change & the Future of Food Salon Sprint week. At least 1 member of each venture team that aspires to pitch must participate in each of the Sprint workshops (Design Thinking, Theory of Change, and Social Entrepreneurship Business Models).
The Climate Change & the Future of Food Pitch Night is the culmination of the Salon Sprint week.
This Pitch Competition is the final event in the week-long Climate Change and the Future of Food Salon Sprint. During this Salon Sprint, students will be encouraged to identify impactful business solutions to the challenges facing the food system, and through a series of workshops mid-week, iterate their ideas and prepare to pitch their solution on Friday, September 22nd for a chance at $500.
About the Climate Change and the Future of Food Salon Sprint
The Salon Sprint week offers programming that encourages current Penn students in a degree-seeking program to iterate a business-solution to challenges nested within specific industries.
The Programming for the Climate Change and the Future of Food Salon Sprint will consist of the following:
- Climate Change and the Future of Food: Social Entrepreneurship Salon | September 18th, 5pm - 6:30pm; Online via Zoom
- Design Thinking for Social Entrepreneurs Workshop | September19th, 4 pm - 5:30pm; Tangen Hall Room 706
- Theory of Change Workshop | September 20th, 4pm - 5:30pm; Tangen Hall Room 706
