Join us at Penn Farm, the first and only on-campus farm at Penn, where thousands of pounds of organic produce are grown annually for our campus food initiatives. Learn about sustainability and regenerative agriculture through a farm tour and a timeline activity exploring agricultural sustainability, food justice, and land sovereignty. Penn Farm provides students with a chance to destress from college, get their hands dirty, and gain a new perspective on the food system.
The event will proceed rain or shine, so please wear appropriate clothing and shoes. We will meet at Van Pelt Library and walk to the farm together. Latecomers will need to go directly to the farm, and directions will be emailed closer to the event.
