An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power

In support of Penn’s Climate Week, Penn Nursing’s Office of Global Health Affairs, in collaboration with the Penn Nursing Sustainability Committee invite all members of the Penn community, including students, staff, faculty, trainees, and visiting scholars, to engage on this critical issue, via asynchronous screening of the film “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” and follow-up discussions. Former Vice President Al Gore raised consciousness of the climate crisis in 2006 with ”An Inconvenient Truth” and followed up a decade later with “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” This second film suggests we are close to a real energy revolution and inspires with the idea that the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.
