Join us to learn more about environmental racism and how the climate crisis is already impacting marginalized communities.
About this event: Student groups from all across campus are partnering with SSAP to explain how the climate crisis exacerbates social inequities across the country. While the climate movement often centers affluent white people, its consequences, due to multiple complex oppressive systems, disproportionately impact people of color, and so, solutions should center people of color. Tune in to learn more about climate injustice and how the climate emergency affects various communities of color.
