Climate Week Fellows - Student Jobs Available

Penn’s Environmental Innovations Initiative manages the annual Climate Week @Penn, a campus-wide gathering for all of the Penn community interested in climate change research and environmental action. This year, Climate Week will be held October 13-17, 2025.

Students who would like to get involved “on the ground” with Climate Week this fall may apply to be Climate Week Fellows. Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, these Fellows will be paid for up to 8 hours of work during Climate Week, helping the EII team with tasks such as:

  • taking photos
  • crafting and sharing social media posts
  • creating interest on College Green for events in the Climate Week tent
  • assisting with event setup and breakdown (chairs, tables, signage, etc.)
  • moving supplies around campus (boxes, tripods, posters, etc.)
  • and other work as needed to promote and assist in the week’s events.

Climate Week Fellows will be required to sign up for several 2-hour shifts for onsite work during the week and also attend at least two Climate Week events where they will take photos and write a summary of the event.

Interested students should submit a resume and cover letter that includes a brief statement (no more than 250 words) about why you want to engage with Climate Week via email:  contact@environment.upenn.edu
